i've been sick since saturday with the flu. and it's been a pretty hectic month. What, with presentations, business meetings, visitors from the principal and personal matters all over the place!


i went to naga last weekend to attend the wake of marge's parents. i feel so sad knowing that her parents departed with so much undignity. sparing the details, a crime was made to her parents and it was really so heavy a burden to be placed on those loves ones left behind. it's a good thing marge is pregnant and has a hubby to support her. i really can't imagine this happened to somebody close to me. it's always a situation where you hear it in the news, but not first hand from your friends. i pray everyday for the soul of alberto tan ben chuan and huy ching, the names of her parents. to those who read my blog, please pause and send a prayer for the eternal repose of their souls please. thanks...


on a different note, i finished reading harry potter last week. bitin bitin! am looking forward for the last book! ;)


on being promoted... well, er, i did get promoted but it isn't official yet because there's no announcement so i always say am still the assistant brand manager. however, my duties and responsibilities are that of a brand manager... it actually has been for quite some time already. work is good, but so busy that i rarely have time to stop and think and reflect. although i know i should manage my time, it's just so hard at the moment. made me think about my life before and how i could've done so many things... it's my youth i guess and a lot of grace from the Lord.


am going to KL for a marketing workshop. i'm actually very excited to learn more about ELLE and to visit Malaysia! ;) I want to go to Petronas Tower... let's see if there's time!


What else to update? My nephew's going to be one soon!!! ;) am looking for a bday cake (blue's clues theme) and will meet a cake designer soon. sana di masyadong mahal! but i'd love his cake to be really cute and all!
