my first attempt to a food blog entry!

last night, after we arrived in Dongguan City, Shenzen, we checked in at Haiyatt Garden Hotel, a five-star hotel in Chang An. We had dinner at Takemura restaurant inside the hotel. Hands down, I think in terms of food and presentation, this is the best dinner I have ever had! Check out the pictures below! :D

the set we ate was called the "elegance set". it was a surprise cause it didn't say what was to be served. so, first off, we were served fish appetizers. then we feasted on this sashimi platter:

after that came the soup i think. i can't remember the sequence... but it was really a feast! not in order, but these are more pictures:

fish liver. it wasn't as bad as it sounds. it was actually very good!

i didn't remember the take a photo of each dish, but there was a clear soup that was really nice, a rice roll with ayu fish, some steamed fish i think. basta it was really a nice dinner. it was unique, something I haven't had before. And although the price was around 380rmb, it was really worth it. you couldn't get anything in manila for that kind of feast :D
