I was able to watch a making of the wicked the musicale while I was watching the in-flight entertainment of Cathay Pacific. And boy, was I impressed. The music was really nice and the production seemed so special. Honestly, I do not know the summary of Wizard of Oz. All I know is that it's a classic and it's a well-loved tale which Americans really love and treasure. (There was even this Ruby slippers (shoes actually) that Judy Garland wore which is preserved and presented to Oprah one time - and the curator wouldn't let Oprah touch without gloves! And I digress. Haha)

I tried searching for the songs but of course, since it was new then, there wasn't any available. I rekindled my interest today and found the songs! My favorite is "For Good". This is the song that Glinda, the good witch and Elphaba, the misunderstood witch who became the wicked witch later on. I like the duets! I also like the song "Popular".

It was Papa's 49th day last Saturday. That meant the end of mourning - we can now cut our hair, wear clothes other than white color (although personally i'll be avoiding red until 100 days). And the first thing I did? Read below:

While everybody is getting their hair rebonded these days, i've jumped over the other side of the bandwagon and did the opposite... got myself a digital perm and lovin' it! :)

It takes getting used to... after all, I think my straight hair and I have been together for less than thirty years already. :)
